App: Mockivator (“we,” “us,” “our”)

1. Summary

Mockivator is designed so that we do not collect, sell, or use your personal content for advertising. Your activity data, streaks, badges, and related information are stored on your device and, if you choose, in your Apple iCloud account via Apple’s services. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not operate our own servers to store your app content.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or cross-app tracking to collect your usage or identity for our own databases. We do not ask you to create an account with us.

3. Data on your device

The app stores information such as logged activities, streaks, badges, settings, and related app data locally on your device (including using Apple’s on-device storage technologies such as Core Data). This data stays on the device unless you use iCloud features described below.

4. Apple iCloud and CloudKit (optional sync)

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app may use Apple CloudKit and related iCloud features to sync certain data (for example activities, badges, settings, and progress) across your devices. That data is stored in your iCloud/CloudKit environment and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy and terms. We do not receive a separate copy of your synced content on our servers and do not use it for marketing.

Optional backup of app-related files to iCloud (for example via iCloud Documents or device backup, depending on your settings) is controlled by you in Settings on your device and by Apple.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple may provide us limited information needed to validate entitlements (for example subscription status). For payment-related privacy questions, see Apple’s privacy information.

6. Notifications

The app may request permission to send local notifications on your device (for example reminders or achievement messages). We do not use these notifications to collect personal data for our own use. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings or in the app where supported.

7. Information from Apple (App Store)

As with any app on the App Store, Apple may provide developers with aggregated or technical information (for example downloads, crashes, and similar diagnostics through App Store Connect). That processing is governed by Apple’s policies.

8. Children

Mockivator is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received such information, contact us at the address above and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Much of your data is under your control on your device and in iCloud through Apple. You may delete app data using app features (for example reset options in Settings, where available), uninstall the app, or manage iCloud data in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.

10. International users

If you use the app from outside your home country, your information may be processed in the countries where Apple and your device operate, as described in Apple’s documentation.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on [your privacy policy URL] and update the “Effective date” above.
